Today is my 31st birthday (though one of my friends reminded me it's actually the start of my 32nd year - thanks). Here are a few memories from my 31 years that top the list (in random order).
Trips to Colorado, Texas, New York, DC, Virginia and New Mexico as a child with my family
Trips to Boston, Chicago and New Mexico with my husband (even though all were work related)
Marching in the Alamo Bowl alongside the Texas A&M and U of Michigan marching bands
Three weeks in beautiful Spain with awesome friends my senior year
Becoming a mommy - TWICE - once "naturally" the other very UN-naturally!
Falling in Love - with the most amazing partner, husband and father you can imagine
Graduating with two degrees from a college that I loved
Working for three amazing non-profit organizations
Giving the commencement address at my college graduation
Losing 93 pounds and earning the fit, healthy body I've always desired
Being at the births of my nieces and nephews
Going to Niagara Falls
Being with my grandfather at the moment of his death and feeling the Spirit move
Hearing the news that my best friend's baby was born on my birthday
There are more...but this is a good start. I'm one lucky lady.
