My dad's appointment was not good.
In fact it was downright BAD.
His "bad" numbers have more than doubled in the last six months. They've scheduled a CT because they worry it might have spread to his organs. His hemoglobin is down.
Meanwhile, next door, we're clearing out my grandma's house because she's moved into her assisted living space and the house is for sale.
Down the street, my husband's father had surgery last week because his in-remission prostate cancer reared it's ugly head in the form of a blockage.
We're supposed to go to Oklahoma City this weekend for a little getaway. Last night, my son began crying that his ears hurt. We're going to his immunologist today.
It's dark, and FINALLY raining today. But instead of celebrating the moisture, it just feels like a timely dark cloud.
