1. School programs (see above). All the hard work making costumes and learning lines and songs comes together for one splendid hour – and my son was the star of the show! (He’s Chicken Little, front row, in the green shirt with feathers)
2. Two paid work holidays.
3. We get to move in 14 days.
4. My last day at work is in 28 days!
5. Watching a parade with friends.
6. Shopping – a fridge, stove, computer, piano, furniture, curtains, stuff for the kids’ new rooms, new clothes for summer...yay!
7. Warmer weather. Maybe, just maybe, the temperature will level out and everyone will get well and stop spreading germs.
8. American Idol and Dancing with the Stars finales...the last few shows are the best.
9. Mother’s Day. I’m not sure there will be in any real “festivities” or presents this year since we’re a little preoccupied, but I still love the meaning of the day.
10. Stimulus checks…to make all that shopping a little easier.
