Here are some things we've learned about our “new” house this week…
Five Quirks
- The light in our daughter’s room is connected to the microwave.
- The porch light is connected to the outlet by the front door.
- The “main” switch on the breaker box runs the garage power – NOT the house power.
- The utility room light must be on for the internet to work.
- The hot and cold water valves in the laundry room are switched
Five Highlights
- An island in the kitchen is a must-have convenience I love
- Having beautiful flowers in your front yard is so wonderful
- Kids are at home wherever their family and fun things are
- Having family down the street is pretty handy...especially when things are broken
- Anything negative can turn into positive with a good attitude, creativity…and money!
